3.It is better not to use a vertical shaft gear box when it can use a parallel shaft gear box; 

4.When selecting the gearbox, consider or calculate the allowable radial load of the gearbox; 

5.When selecting the gearbox speed, a six-pole motor should be selected as much as possible, that is, a motor with a synchronous speed of 1000 rpm as the drive motor, which can reduce the vibration of the coupling and the brake wheel during high-speed rotation, especially for larger power For belt conveyors, such as belt conveyors with a power greater than 90kW, it is best to use a low-speed gearbox, at this time the price of the motor will be correspondingly higher than the price of the four-pole motor; 

6.Try to reduce or control the size of the unbalanced torque of the fluid coupling and the brake wheel.
